Arsenal 4-1 Norwich
Gunners take top spot in the Premier League as they hit Canaries for four with stunning goals from Ramsey & Wilshere as Ozil opens his league account with a double
Wojciech Szczesny 2.5
The Pole played with confidence and his handling was solid as he kept out Norwich's attempts, mainly from distance. Could do nothing about Howson's excellent strike.
Bacary Sagna 2.5
Lacked defensive support so it was little surprise that Norwich's goal came from a cross from his side. Always asking for the ball when Arsenal were in possession and gave the team width.
Per Mertesacker 2.5
Rarely troubled but had to stay alert to danger, particularly in the second-half when Norwich showed more attacking intent. Almost scored with a glancing header late on.
Laurent Koscielny 3.5
The Frenchman made some typically perceptive interceptions to snuff out danger quickly with interceptions and strong tackles. Imperious.
Kieran Gibbs 3.0
Strong display from the left-back as he defended with maturity, looking to force Snodgrass on to his right foot, and offered an attacking outlet. Good cutback from which Giroud almost scored in the first-half.
Mikel Arteta 3.0
Dictated the play in central midfield, seeing plenty of the ball barely misplacing a pass as he looked to find the likes of Ozil and Cazorla in good positions.
Jack Wilshere 3.5
Played in unfamiliar position on the right but responded with quick one-two and a right-footed volley to complete a sensational team goal in the 18th minute. Rather drifted out of the game after the break.
Mesut Özil 4.0
Scored his first Premier League goal in the 58th minute with a perfectly timed run and accurate glancing header - and didn't have to wait long for his second as he poked home from close range late on. Classy on the ball but not at his devastating best after picking up an injury on international duty.
Santi Cazorla 2.5
Looked sharp after coming straight back into the side following a lay-off with an ankle injury. Found space between the lines, played tidy passes and wasn't afraid to shoot, testing Ruddy from 12 yards. Good run-out before being replaced by Rosicky in the 59th minute.
Mathieu Flamini 2.5
Protected the defence with tenacity and aggression - the very characteristics that forced him off the pitch after just 37 minutes with a head injury following a full-blooded clash with Tettey.
Olivier Giroud 4.0 (MOTM) Top of the Match
Another superb display from the striker as he led the Arsenal attack. Wonderful link-up play for Wilshere's goal before providing another assist for Ozil's header. Always a goal threat himself and Ruddy into a superb save late on in the first-half.
Tomas Rosicky 2.5
Came on for Cazorla in the 59th minute and provided great creativity - highlighted with a great cross in the build-up to Arsenal's fourth goal.
Aaron Ramsey 4.0
Arsenal's man of the moment was left on the bench after picking up a thigh problem with Wales but came on to replace the injured Flamini in the 37th minute - and what an impact. Twice tested Ruddy with powerful long-range strikes before sealing the points seven minutes from time as he left three Norwich defenders on their backsides before firing home. Sensational goal - and he still had time to lay one on a plate for Ozil.
Nicklas Bendtner 2.5
The much-derided Dane replaced Giroud in the 78th minute and looked fairly sharp, forcing Ruddy into action with a powerful strike from an angle.
